This is an open-edition print of "Musicians at an Art Exhibit", an original oil painting by Jason Rafferty. The setting is Jason's first art exhibit in Asheville, NC, where he requested some talented musician friends to perform. the focal point is violinist Tom Lazinski, who came from Massachusetts for the opening. He is accompanied by guitar and mandolin players in an impromptu circle of musicians. The paintings on the wall are Jason's compositions "Bust of Cicero", "Pursuit of Passion" and "Young Maestro." The composition is inspired by Vermeer's paintings of musicians in interiors.
